Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Victim Empowerment Program (GBV-VEP)

We are pleased to offer a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Victim Empowerment Program in South Africa. Our program is designed to support and empower victims of GBV, as well as raise awareness of the issue within the wider community.

Our program includes the following services:

Counselling and emotional support: We provide professional counselling services to help victims of GBV overcome trauma and build resilience. Our counsellors are trained to work with victims of all ages and backgrounds.

Legal support: We offer legal support to victims of GBV who need help navigating the legal system. This includes assistance with filing police reports, obtaining restraining orders, and accessing legal aid.

Referrals to other support services: We work closely with other organizations to ensure that victims of GBV have access to a range of support services, including medical care, housing, and financial assistance.

Education and awareness: We conduct workshops and training sessions to raise awareness of GBV within the wider community. This includes providing education on the forms of GBV, how to recognize it, and what to do if you or someone you know is a victim.

Advocacy: We work to advocate for policy and legislative changes that address GBV and protect the rights of victims. We also work to raise public awareness and advocate for social change to reduce the incidence of GBV.

Our program is designed to be accessible to all victims of GBV, regardless of their background or financial situation. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for all of our clients.
